The Community Growing Center, a center for both environmental education and cultural performances located just outside of Union Sq. in Somerville, plays host to some most wondeful acoustic performances from Jamaica Plain’s Chris North, he the leader of the Chris North Dream Quartet and sure enough a bringer of folk music, Martha’s Vineyard’s Greg Sun, the man behind Manners and former resident of our holy Whitehaus, and a band also from Jamaica Plain, Camp Hope, who I’d say have probably released my favorite local music of the year(a so short EP). They play a glorious pop music that will delight your ears if you will let it.
