Over in Allston tonight, semi-local weird pop & psych pop master GARY WAR glides into town. Gary’s 3rd record JARED’S LOT comes out on SPECTRUM SPOOLS later this month, and we can bet he’s going to be playing some of those new jams for us tonight. GARY WAR has been continually making wild and far out pop sounds for as long as we can remember and it is more than worth your while to go on and check out what he’s got going on. BENT SHAPES have shed their former moniker and added a new member and turned up the mean on their amps a few notches. We like it. They still jangle a bit, and you can still sing along at times, but now you might want to jump around wildly just a little bit more! BOZMO finishes up a great bill with some garage rock with a pop bent Allston styleee.
