BRIANA MARELA floats in all the way from Olympia, WA on thursday 6/7. Her folk is of the quite experimental variety, lush with harmonies, and filled with psychedelic moments and sounds. The production is beautiful, full of fuzz, hazy sounds of many different origins. Am I wrong in likening this, at least in feel, to the Mirah/Microphones style K Records had going for a time there? I don’t really think I am wrong. Just lovely stuff, perfect sounds for filling the golden home of awesome sounds in Boston, ye holy Whitehaus. DAWN FAUNA is Anna of Boston’s own heroes of twanging psychedelia QUILT and Regina of JP folk mainstays Woodrow Wilsons and Fey Rey. Together they will form for us some heavenly, jangly psych pop, all laid back and falling so slowly to the ground. You have so much time to enjoy it. It takes its time. MIA FRIEDMAN and MISSING MARS round out this loveliest of shows for beginning the end of your week. Join in won’t you? A B.O.W. Show…8pm ALL AGES DONATE
