THE FMLY may sound a little creepy, but in reality is a really awesome loose knit collective of DIY and underground musicians and artists that stretches across this USA. They hope for a better tomorrow, by working toward it today. Very idealistic, maybe some hippie dippy shit, but fuck it if it’s not a positive, nurturing, artistically minded thing these folks have going on. And some of these FMLY folks have been hanging around just above our top lip(mustache zone) right here in Boston. The likes of BIRTHDAYS with their awesome experimental pop, and LITTLE SPOON who play an ethereal dreamy pop of their own rep Boston on the regular, while MANY MANSIONS and TRUMAN PEYOTE and their inward and outer space electronic excursions will always have a Jamaica Plain connection. The show tonight comes in the wake of THE FMLY FEST down in NYC and it all happens @ Ted Saunders(in Allston, hit the FB event for addy) with the aforementioned artists and many more including: EMILY REO, CUDDLE FORMATION, CAMERON RATH, JACK LITTMAN, GREEN PAPER + MORE
