MAGIC MAGIC has to be one of our favorite Boston area bands here @ the Hassle. Dream poppers or psych poppers depending on who you ask, either way their music is no doubt filled with shimmering, gauzy melodies placed delicately over a bed of bubbling bass guitar, chiming guitars, and lush harmonies. Did we mention they bring it with TWO drummers? Well, they do, so now you know in case you didn’t. Considering that they write some amazing and memorable songs this is a band that will keep you coming back for more, no doubt. They share an Allston stage tonight with fellow popheads YOU CAN BE A WESLEY, the shoegazing NIGHT FRUIT, and Brooklyn’s indie punk BEAST MAKE BOMB.
