Smash It Dead fest comes to a close with two great shows, more workshops and PB&J’s! Come to the Democracy Center near Harvard Sq for this full day of cool things to do:
First up at 1:00, raise your awareness by attending the Consent Workshop by Support Boston. Stick around for Part 1 of the day’s musical madness with an afternoon show, featuring JOYRIDE! (SF), PRIESTS (DC), TOMBOY, and DANGEROUS PONIES (PA), an eclectic mix of punk, surf, garage, electronic, and pop jams that’ll make your brain jump around from sheer excitement. Post-show, take a quick dinner break with a PB&J/Potluck food fest and recharge them dancing cells to get ready for the last show of the weekend at 6:00. This show features grunge garage rockers SOURPATCH (CA), the frustrated, ripped up, heavy chords of PARASOL, the furious sounds and straight-to-the-point lyrics of CERCE, the hardcore hits and screams of FORCE QUIT (CAN.) and the riot-speed, heart pounding, movement makers 3JANE (NJ). Stay for the whole time or come only for the shows, but be a part of this awesome day in community outreach, fundraising, good food, and good music.
