The Womb in Allston is hosting a going away bash for musician Chris Geller (hence the neat show name ‘Gellerfest’). In honor of this great lad/drummer on his departure from the Boston area, local bands and friends are showing their love with music and fun. BUFU Records’ Dylan Ewen & the Sulk Scouts (featuring Geller on drums!) deliver energetic, youth angst-themed pop songs, while Boston’s very own Outerspaceman contributes a similar lo-fi experimental sound. Animal Flag (part of Motherland Collective and Yeehaw! with Ewen) is atmospheric, electronic based music, the chill scene for the evening. The seven-piece ska punk band Poor Jeremy will liven the party with its aggressive, uptempo jams.

This sendoff will be rad. Get what you need and head to the Womb promptly at 8! Also, help him out and donate for his moving (and life) cause!
