Synth pop instrumentals, with bits of samples floating around in it here and there. In OXYKITTEN you will find love if it is on the weirder edge of the analog synth drenched pop world that you seek it. From Portland, OR and just lots of fun to listen to. The latest release from this band(or more likely single person) is called OCTAGONAL WAX and it makes one think of skweee at times, and generally that is a very good thing. It’s more than just some American doing skweee though. This record goes all over the place, to droning, almost psychedelic places, and then back to very beat oriented chip-tune dance music style stuff. Enjoying this. The video for “Rat Priest” is found below. Records out on FIELD HYMNS.
