Strange rockers MOUTHBREATHERS recently played SPRING INTO SUMMER fest in their hometown of Lawrence, Kansas and they’ve just released a killer EP on SLOVENLY which perfectly represents their odd garage-surf-punk sound. I’ve played the EP to death, anxiously awaiting more MOUTHBREATHERS magic (soon, on IN THE RED) so I was totally excited to find this video which offers us a totally raw live performance of one of their new songs, giving us a glimpse into a punker side of their sound. I will be playing this over and over until I get to see them play at OTTOWA EXPLOSION at the end of this month!
