I can honestly say that THEE OOPS are the only Sardinian band that I’ve ever listened to, or even heard of. I never would have expected this type of ferocious 80s west coast style hardcore punk to exist in an autonomous island off the coast of Italy, but it does and it is fucking excellent. They released a double 7″ EP at the end of 2012 on SLOVENLY (almighty ambassadors of mind blowing little known European bands) containing 9 songs and one BEASTIE BOYS cover. THEE OOPS are fast, crazy, chaotic, and timeless. Minute long songs garnished with gritty fucked up guitar and yelling back and forth vocals are always a win for me. When I hear music like this it immediately makes me regret that I haven’t touched a skateboard in like 15 years, will someone please skate to this band for me?
