Seth Bogart is back, and this time he’s angry. Reuniting with his PUNX after releasing solo album HAIRDRESSER BLUES last year, the new sound of HUNX AND HIS PUNX may shock some. Gone are the days of bouncy bubblegum hits, ooohs and aaahs, and girl group harmonies, I think this new directions bears some similarity to Seth’s old band PANTY RAID. HARDLY ART leaked “Bad Skin” the other day to give us all a taste of what’s to come. It begins with a menacing guitar riff and then bursts into a minute long flailing temper tantrum, “I GOT BAD SKIN” sneers Bogart (over and over and over).
