You really can’t beat a name like BITS OF SHIT. These denim-wrapped Australian maniacs play a seriously weird style of punk. Some people say it’s like mid-era BLACK FLAG, I think it sounds like what would happen if a bunch of mental patients escaped from the ward and formed a band. I’m guessing that if Chopper Read listened to punk, he would probably love BITS OF SHIT. They’re dark, dangerous, and strangely innovative. Roaring demonic guitars perfectly compliment bizarre tortured stream of consciousness vocals. They have two new releases out soon to follow up last year’s LP, a single on TOTAL PUNK and one on MATADOR’S singles club, “Singles Going Home Alone.” Check out “Meat Thump” from their upcoming release with TOTAL PUNK:
