Articles from the Boston Compass

Every Friday from 6/27 to 8/29, the HIGHLAND STREET FOUNDATION is hooking you up with FREE ADMISSION to a motherload of money-guzzling museums and venues in Boston and beyond.  Normally work Fridays?  Ferris Bueller that shit.  Summer is here….

This month is the kickoff on 6/27 with a couple local locales worth checking out.  Over @the MIT Museum in Cambridge you’ll find art + technology makin’ babies by way of holographs, robots, and kinetic art sculptures from 10am-5pm

Across town you can get an inside peek at some wild lives over in Dorchester…make your acquaintance with a menagerie of monkeys, a family of giraffe’s and critters galore @Franklin Park Zoo from 10am-5pm

If you’re feelin’ like an adventure, hop on the commuter rail and take a short walk to see some Knights, Japanese folk art, emotionally potent photos and art from the mid-century to now @the Worcester Art Museum from 11am-5pm

For those of you with wheels, make sure to holler @MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA from 11am-5pm to experience more cool stuff than this paper can contain, including exhibitions by the likes of TERESITA FERNÁNDEZ, DARREN WATERSTON, and IZHAR PATKIN
