Howdy, howdy readers,
We’re super stoked to jump into the new year with big news! Last month, we finalized our website redesign and went live. We have a shiny brand-spanking-new website at bostonhassle.com thanks to the efforts of core Brain-Arts members and the web-designer Kay Belardinelli (kangabell.co). We still provide the same great coverage you’ve come to expect from us, but the layout now presents our events and articles in a more convenient way. You can find shows, films, and other happenings easier than ever before- check it out. We’re also excited to announce a shift in the Boston media landscape from the grassroots up. We recently met with the folks from the Boston Institute for Nonprofit Journalism (BINJ), and were delighted to hear they’re taking over operations at the weekly Dig. In only a short time, BINJ has become known for bold, authentic reporting and a commitment to supporting independent publications like ours! This means that for the first time in Compass history we’ll be working with other nonprofit and grassroots groups to supply quality journalism to Bostonians and beyond. Scope https://medium.com/binj-reports and definitely follow them on social media. As always, thanks for picking up the rag: we remain committed to delivering the best picks of the Boston scene.
