Increase the rad-ness of your Monday by surfing those turf toes on over to Charlie’s Kitchen in Harvard Square TONIGHT for a night of musical madness courtesy of the good folks at Fast Apple.
You will be rewarded with the surf-strimental stylings of TSONS OF TSUNAMI, whose members includes some familiar faces and fingers from Guerilla Toss and Cowboy Band. They sound like a mythically perfect beach party that started in 1961 but never stopped: check out their fantastic BUFU Records release, Fearless Riders of the Holy Curl for reference. The Tsons will be supported by Providence’s ethereal pop dreamers LITTLEFOOT and their mellower brand of coastal tunes. Adam Markiewicz of Brooklyn-based band The Dreebs will also be adding his haunting voice and violin combination to the mix with a solo performance. The South Shore’s very own raucous, grunge-y punk three piece Black Beach are set to round out the bill and melt some faces so you should definitely arrive on time to check them out. These dudes never disappoint, ripping through that early 90’s nostalgia with equal parts aggression and purpose.
