Those lovable goons at FAST APPLE always have somethin spicy cooking Monday nights at Charlie’s Kitchen in Harvard Square. TONIGHT they got four goners to open some space in that cranium of yours. Local artist Jesse Defrancesco’s debuts new project PHAZE, dark stalking garage like a beat in the night. Dreamy New Hampshire dabbler Lukas Goudreault (formerly of Mmoss, New Highway Hymanl) shakes shambling shoulders and dips trippy and lethargic pop as SOFT EYES. These New England pals mix nicely with some Indianapolis deep groovers. SHAME THUGS babble and groan over dubbed out kosmiche drones (a la Pocahaunted), while JOHN FLANNELY bounces around, flip floping glitched sinewaves into abstracted melodies, with emphasis on sonic texture.
