When was the last time you went to a grunge show?  Depending on how old you are the answer is probably never. Well tonight at CHARLIE’S KITCHEN you’ll get a strong whiff of that brooding sound.

Once again FAST APPLE books a stacked show of pure, steaming rock ‘n roll for your enjoyment. Boston’s seasoned scruffers PILE (Exploding in Sound) bring a characteristic set of wild, sprawling emotion, with soaring highs and melancholy lows that parallel the real life. With destructive energy punched in where you least expect it, these brawny riffs mingle with a strong whiff of 90’s discordance.  Baltimore punks ROOMRUNNER (Fan Death) are in town with their loud noise-rock aesthetic honed in Baltimore.  The band has often been compared to the grandfather of grunge bands, not gonna say the N word, but they bring a sharper, jagged edge than their predecessors. They’re travelling with Bmore pals MULTICULT (Reptillian), a three piece riding killer rhythm that clashes well with screechy lyrics and a unique guitar style.  Opening the show is the Boston band CHOKE UP who deliver intense post-hardcore that will lend itself to a fierce live performance. Expect this show to be loud, aggressive and churning with boisterous emotion.
