Tonight, established rockers FAST APPLE BOOKING bring you another wallop of a show at CHARLIE’S KITCHEN. Drink your red bull vodka’s cause this late show starts at 10:30. You’re gonna get the chance to see four amazing bands that have put out some of the most exciting releases of the year. Closing the show are the hometown anarchos ANCIENT FILTH with their in your face style of fast snotty punk. With raw and unrelenting jams that buzz by, you might not be able to keep up with their blistering pace but they don’t care. With screechy vocals that teach you more than any political science class ever could, this band drags you across the floor with their energy and you’ll be happy they did.
NEW COKE is a fuzz-loving Florida punk outfit that is touring on their latest release from SLOVENLY RECORDS. These guys are singing about all that can go wrong with love while flashing happy, sunshiney smiles on their faces. It creates a sound and overall atmosphere that’s frantic and keeps you on edge like at any minute your mistress’ husband is gonna bust through the bedroom door and you’re standing there without pants on. Often the instruments seem at odds with each other, bringing about a discordant sound that groovily plods to a crescendo before quickly falling into chaos. New Coke is sure to play a set that will make you question your feelings while banging your head.
Accompanying New Coke up the Atlantic coast are South Florida’s surf swagger dudes SANDRATZ. Sandratz pumps out short songs with fast guitars that try to end the narco anthems as soon as possible, gearing up for the next pounding. This band goes all in on each track, leaving nothing behind as they confide in their audience all the dumb stuff they’ve done that led them to write these swingin’ jams. Prepare yourself to join in on the fun. Starting things off are Cambridge’s own three piece WHITE PAGES. This trio blasts the door off the garage with a blend of quirky and breakneck pace songs. With endearing vocals and driving bass lines White Pages are sure to impress. Fast Apple said it’s Charlie’s first and last Wednesday night show so get there and be a part of history.
