Brookline’s prodigal child of blue-eyed soul returns to his hometown tonight for a soirée of frenzied R&B at the Sinclair. This will be Eli “Paperboy” Reed’s second performance of “Nights Like This,” an event featuring soul classics in addition to his own originals. His upcoming record is sure to be an anachronistic swirl of traditional R&B and modern-pop forays. Between Reed’s performance and a set by pop-connoisseur and vocalist/guitarist Ruby Rose Fox, it’s sure to be steamy Valentine’s Day for all those present.
