Listen and learn as some agile minds talk technology and how its evolution can (and is) shaping the future of public art as we know it in Boston.  Among those in on this convo will be RON MALLIS, Director of BOSTON APP/LAB, one of the orgs orchestrating this oral event, and GEORGE FIFIELD, Director of BOSTON CYBERARTS, who is responsible for a slew of hi tech installations throughout our fair city.  Also participating in this the talk will be Primavera De Fillipi (Researcher, CERSA/SNRS/Université Paris II and Berkman Center for Internet & Society, Harvard University), Matthew Blumberg (Founder and Executive Director of GridRepublic), Dan Sternof Beyer (Founding member of New American Public Art), Camilø Alvårez (Director, Samson Projects and Pedro Alonzo (Independent curator).

Show up early for a walking tour of MIT’s impressive public art collection which will meet @the Ames Street entrance to the LIST Center.
