It’s ORGY SEASON over @ WHRB (95.3 FM), which you may more likely know via their late night punk and underground programming moniker of the RECORD HOSPITAL. And what does this mean? Well you dirty minded freaks, it means that they have entered into their annual gluttonous programming variation in which days (classical music) and nights (the Record Hospital, 10pm-5am)) are filled with lengthy retrospectives of artists’ careers, labels’ output, regional sound collections, and collections of music bound together by particular themes. It’s always an intriguing listen, and often an education as you get into serious deep cuts territory, musical places you may never have thought to travel to yourself.
