Album release shows are arguably the best kind of shows. It’s like a baby shower, except the annoying in-laws are replaced with a bunch of sick new tunes and there isn’t an overabundance of pastel color schemes. Keeping this in mind, tonight will most definitely be an album release show to remember as Boston favorites LITTLEFOOT take on the Lilypad in Cambridge to celebrate their debut album “Night Of The Living Dreams.” The band’s hazy tracks are intricately crafted with melodic guitar parts balanced atop surging, percussive rhythms that are more than due for a proper release. And with BUFU Records behind all of this, you can be sure this show is going to be something worth catching.

Adding to the night’s fun is RAVI SHAVI, with their upbeat instrumentals and squealing lo-fi vocals. DARK RODEO is bringing the noise this time around thanks to the band’s heavily layered and extremely dynamic melodies. GRACIE JACKSON rounds out the lineup with her murky, roughly saccharine vocals propelled by cascading drums. Basically, it’s a stacked lineup filled with some of New England’s finest underground acts.

So come help celebrate the birth of a wonderful new album, congratulate Littlefoot, and above all else, come ready to dance.
