Boston’s beloved QUILT calls it’s psychedelic friends to town tonight as they celebrate the release of their second record HELD IN SPLENDOR. Opening up, all the way from Austin TX, please welcome ZZ THROB, featuring members of sleek jazzedelic loungers SOFT HEALER. QUILT follows suite to treat us to cuts of the strange fruit of their labors, recently featured on NPR’s First Listen. Nearer Portland’s HERBCRAFT has garnered astonishing critical praise for their free-folk/psych improvisations and are stalwart friends of the Boston psyche scene. Last up we have Brooklyn’s trio of mountain men WOODSMAN to close tonight’s ceremony with a Kraut-infused, mind-expanding finale not to be missed.
