For those unfortunate enough to miss out on the stratospheric level of awesomness that was Hassle Fest 6, there is still plenty to be seen as Hassle Fest 6: The Final Chapter keeps the party going tonight at the Lilypad. This record release show, the first of two Boston Hassle Rear End nights features local triad The MONSIEURS whose new release is out now on Slovenly Records. Drummer Erin King brings her thunderous and steady drumming to lead singer Andy MacBain’s sharp, static vocals leaving just enough room for Hilken Mancini’s raging punk riffs. FUNERAL CONE are pausing work on the their new LP to rock the house with their friends so bring your moshing shoes because it’s bound to get rowdy. Starting the night off will be Cambridge three piece WHITE PAGES. If you haven’t already witnessed the short, blisteringly fast, energetic White Pages songs performed live then you are in for a treat. The visceral guitar and lightning bass is the perfect cocktail to get the blood pumping and ready for the rest of what promises to be a fabulously frantic evening. Be sure to check out the Monsieurs new release and don’t forget to snag yourself a limited edition t-shirt from the band if you have a minute amidst the chaos. Is there any better way to wind down such a great weekend?
