As two recent college graduates entering the “real world” and thinking about our careers, it only seemed fitting to explore the issue of gender in the workforce. Work by white, cis men is still unevenly valued over everyone else’s, and in an economic climate where everyone is struggling, that imbalance only becomes tougher to face. In this issue, the submissions unsurprisingly range from personal to political. When it comes to dealing with issues like wage gaps or sexual harassment in the workplace, the two perspectives cannot exist alone. We need to keep sharing our stories and demanding equality. Now we hope you too will use your voice to fight for what is fair.
