Go bananas tonight by getting out to Charlie’s Kitchen for yet another show put on by the sound purveyors at B.O.W. and Fast Apple. Desperado noise punks (New England) Patriots sandwich hypnotic riffs deep-fried in fuzz  between rock solid rhythms and distorted vocals to herald in the gods of repetition. They’re joined by the swaggering post-punkers Ukiah Drag, who chug forward slowly and heavily while throwing in nods to country and blues, like a young Nick Cave if he ate more jambalaya. Meanwhile, listening to New York City based Lushes– winding down their spring tour- is an eclectic journey through post-rock and its cousins’ family tree – that is to say they move back and forth between mathy and ethereal with the occasional surprise like its nobody’s business. You also won’t want to miss the debut performance by Kill the Babysitter, a new project featuring members of Guerilla Toss and Bugs & Rats. You’ll just have to come and see this one for yourselves! That’s a sweet line-up full of rockin’ variety, so don’t miss out!
