Come out of to Sophia Gordon Hall on the Tufts University campus TONIGHT for a killer night of sweet rock n’ roll, put on by the folks from Applejam, Tufts’ only DIY booking collective. Fins come up from CT, filling your ears some beautifully sloppy, catchy punk; think early Replacements meets SST mixed with a little noise-addled attitude. Joining them are locals Miami Doritos, whose trashy, thrashy, and totally unhinged take on garage-punk is freaky, fucked-up, and fun as all hell. Also joining them are fellow locals Julius Earthling, whose wonderful noise-pop is spacey, melodic, melancholic, and fuzzy in all the right places. And finally, opening things up for us all is the enigmatic Shark Saddle, playing their very first show. If you’re not convinced, on top of it all the show is FREE. So venture out to Tufts and rediscover the beauty and wonder of an all ages show hosted by all aged kids.
