Kevin Micka’s Animal Hospital project is at least five years strong now, and three full-lengths deep. For those not privy, an Animal Hospital show consists of Kevin creating giant sonic structures from guitar, drums, percussion and a whole bunch of pedals and delay units… listen to the three epics from his most recent full-length Memory for proof.
On December 3rd at Machines With Magnets in Pawtucket and December 4th at MassArt in Boston, Kevin will orchestrate 30 musicians to recreate the above compositions without loops. Furthermore, the AMAZING show poster demonstrates that the musicians will surround the audience (click on it for higher resolution).
