This weekend has reminded us that winter is coming! But the cold, dreary weather has broken and the sunlight should entice everyone to head to O’Brien’s TONIGHT, where Allston Pudding are hosting their November Localz Only Mixtape Release Show! The fellow Boston-area bloggers have lined up three sensational local and regional acts to celebrate the next installement in their new cassette series.
The night starts out with a bang as Bar Harbor quintet COKE WEED wow spectators with their classic psych vibes and haunting bass lines. Then get ready to slowly bob your head in approval as you chill out to the fuzzy, ethereal soft rock of MINI DRESSES. These Austin, TX uproots have been part of the Boston scene since 2012 and have been sending out many positive waves from their new home base in Somerville. The night finishes strong with the Alex Judd led septet BRAZIL whose lo-fi folk pop rounds out the night with some awe-inspiring acoustic compositions.
