Allston’s Butcher Shoppe, is easily one of the coolest venues in the Boston area. Night in and night out the most far out sounds and most ear shattering noises are emitted from this long running show space. B.O.W. Shows has worked much with the space and continues to do so tonight bringing a very cool show featuring Chicago weird bodies MAYOR DALEY to town. MAYOR DALEY is an art rock band harboring unsavory feelings toward progressive rock and then sharing those feelings with us the listener. THE DREEBS music lives on the same continent as MAYOR DALEY’s, but each beast is quite different. THE DREEBS-ian way is one full of pulsing, harrowing non-stop guitar fronted exercises in drone and screech creating an aural environment like little you’ve ever heard before. The DREEBS are absolute favs of ours here @ the Hassle. GUERILLA TOSS makes an post-art punk screech and groove that scares both the punks and the art rockers. ARVID NOE wield unholy guitars that are used to throttle your expectations of indie punk sounds. And NOMS have a very strange and fucked sounding 80s weird punk steez that is probably going to make you feel weird(in a good way).
