BUFU Recs bad boys slap together another tasty pop sandwich to while away your evening hours. Up from NYC is FLOWER GIRL, your future favorite dad rock band from a bunch of silly youngins. These guys got that unpretentious, free form grip on that breezy pop format. The zinger is their songwriting – absurdly silly lyrics in simple yet often unexpected cadence. They’re supported by some deep local buds. BONG WISH got that hazy nostalgia vibe going for them, with lackadaisical feel and gob-smacking beautiful harmonies. Free Pizza’s frontman gets his solo mojo a go-go as JESUS VIO ROCK & ROLL wakes you up to the beauty and poignant realities of modern life. ROSIE AND THE ROSIES pack no punches but maybe some delish sammys and some hidden treats for those who play nice. All happening within the bright white walls of la Maison Blanche in Jamaica Plain!
