For a lot of us this might hit pretty close to home, as many of us Compass readers and writers are artists ourselves. How We Get By is a lecture/ discussion that will explore how artists make money and how it is often outside the realm of their artistic endeavors. A dozen artists will share how they derive their income, their expenses, and how their financial situations affect their art. There will also be some art organizations on hand to share their wisdom as well. Not to mention, BOSTON IS MAD EXPENSIVE.
