Boston indie pop band The Water Cycle have made their cinematic debut with a lo-fi music video for “Prep School Girls.” The song is off the band’s early 2017 release Other Boys.

The video features The Water Cycle, composed of Joe Kerwin, Jack Kerwin, and Robert Capodilupo, frolicking in a Trader Joe’s parking lot and putting on a stellar performance to their reflections in a bathroom mirror. The song features lighthearted pop sensibilities, but there is a very prevalent DIY aesthetic to the video (something those prep school girls would certainly not get). But don’t think there is a limit to the “Prep School Girls” video’s audience; it can be enjoyed by punks, jocks, and preps alike!
