This year I launched Indiepocalypse, a monthly indie game anthology companion art zine. The physical zine was made because (in addition to a love for zines) it would make it easy to show people everything available in an issue without having to prep a computer with 100+ demos.
Instead of bringing zines out to events (the great equalizer) I’ve been forced to take to the internet (far from equalizing) to tell everyone to buy or be in my “hey let’s make people care about small independent games” project. Sometimes it worked. I am regularly seeking game submissions and comic, single page mini zine, reviews, or really any other submissions for the companion zine.
I also started a radio show. It’s fun.
