WENT THERE: FREE PIZZA & IAN – LIVE @ FRESH AIR ’14

Now that summer has arrived and the weather trends towards the oppressively humid, it’s as good a time as any to cast your mind back to that temperate day in late June when Mother Nature gifted us with the ideal meteorological conditions for FRESH AIR: RINGER PARK, the Hassle’s first ever free outdoor music festival. With a lineup that included Whitehaus heroes Free Pizza, SoCal transplant IAN, Westfield MA’s plucker supreme Sophie Dickinson, sonic alchemist Keith Fullerton Whitman (whose set can be found here) and a diverse array of others, attendees enjoyed six straight hours of sweet sounds and chill vibes in Allston’s Ringer Park. Thanks to the magic of portable digital audio recorders, here are a few highlights from that afternoon’s sets by Free Pizza and IAN:
