Premier group GANGZ, big local guy Shawnie Brando (of Bugs and Rats) smashes in with his floor tom and screams. Accompanied by Lauren Grimes the duo bust out a real industrial sound. OOZING WOUND steps on stage. Wild ribbons of guitar lines screaming over articulated drums had my neck snapping back and forth the whole set. Would have been BOUNTY to grab a 7” but all my cash went to that LP crack (actually I borrowed the money from a friend. I’m a bum SO WHAT). ANCIENT FILTH brought that thrash sound into the ring. Head man made a fucking riot out of the crowd, made me wish I didn’t have my camera in hand. Massive energy, definitely walked out of that basement a little more crazy.
