VEILED is the international duo of Rob Francisco (M AX NOI MACH, DEXTER INDUSTRIES) and Amau Sala (EXOTERIC CONTINENT). The pair bring together influence from the warm, ancient and decaying city of Barcelona and the cold, modern and decaying city of Philadelphia to create rhythmic noise techno rumblings which bring to mind various UK industrial and club music pummelers, from Throbbing Gristle to Raime and various Sandwell District type projects.

El Temps No Passa, the follow-up to last year’s LP on Blind Prophet, finds VEILED moving ever further away from the dance floor. The sound is mechanistic and menacing, a little abrasive and largely amelodic. While retaining some of techno’s energy and propulsive rhythms, its four tracks push at the limits of industrial, noise and ambient sound, taking things to even darker and yet more seductive places.

VEILED will be performing at Deep Thoughts this Saturday, October 25th with Universal Cell Unlock, Lend Bias and Yerri.
