Fans of left-coast heavy psychedelia ought to check out the great Uubbuurruu (pronounced ooh-boo-roo), a group of heady rockers from Montreal who probably didn’t have much competition to grab their Bandcamp url. “Dear God” comes off their Swamp Ritual EP released fall, and if it’s one of the more low-key tracks from it, its trippy video laden with kaleidoscope-esque effects (overlaid by shots of the cosmos) certainly does it justice.
