Urochromes has teamed up with Philip Steiger (Nancy Shirley) in their new music video for “Ugly.” Urochromes (members of Sediment Club and Cheri Love) shred, stomp, and freak out across Western Mass hot spots. There they are in the abandoned water park of Mt. Tom, they pop up on the banks of the Connecticut River, and look at how much wood there is! While the backdrop paints a voyeuristic picture if you limit your perspective to greater Boston lenses, take a second to appreciate Jackie throwing the chair through the hole. Jump and celebrate too. Moreso watch the line of teens dancing, laughing, and smiling behind Jackie with Jackie. The thing about Urochromes and Western Mass is not just the celebration of the freaky, but the universal appreciation and expectation of going for it. Urochromes goes on tour August 3rd.
