I found this new track from London’s THE LOVE TRIANGLE on SORRY STATE‘S facebook page the other day and it has left me totally wanting more. Their forthcoming album “CLEVER CLEVER” is out sometime this month, and it’s a co-release between STATIC SHOCK and SORRY STATE. This tight little song is a great reminder that punk rock a la early BUZZCOCKS is still alive and flailing. It’s melodic without being too melodic, the instruments are played well without trying too hard, and it’s over in a minute and a half. Also, this is some of the best punk drumming I’ve heard in a long time, if I didn’t already know that there is absolutely no chance that I will ever be able to play drums even half well, I would say that this song would inspire me to learn how to play drums. Maybe it will inspire you to play drums? Oh who cares, just listen to the damn song.
