Temporary Eyesore – s/t

A two-piece packing a punch, Temporary Eyesore offers a tantalizing taste of what’s to come through their debut s/t EP.

Recently released on Anxiety Pop, the EP leans more towards the contemplative with subdued tracks like “Heathered” and “Spun.” The songs’ dynamics remain stable and consistent throughout—ideal for featuring Zoë Wyner’s distinctively charming and edgy vocals (which surely sound familiar from Boston’s premier indie pop ensemble Halfsour.) Meanwhile, “Walk” swaps out contemplation for heavy, unbridled choruses evolving from muted verses—a transition that demands attention be paid to the innovative sounds Temporary Eyesore is creating.
