One of the most successful bands to emerge from Boston’s underground in the last bunch of years are the singularly psychedelic bunch known as QUILT. Now a four piece the band is set to release their next album PLAZA on MEXICAN SUMMER, which is home to their first two full lengths as well.
PLAZA continues the band’s unique take on psychedelic pop, and the latest track off the record, “Roller” is no exception. The bass sounds fat as hell as singer Annasings about the spirit of the wanderer. The guitars are shimmering, gorgeous, and this one has a a serious back beat making this track a real body swayer. Hard to get sick of that QUILT sound. Just not happening my friends. Catch the band over very near to where their initial seed was planted (@ the School of the Museum of Fine Arts). QUILT plays @ the MFA to kick off their tour for PLAZA on 2/26!!
