PREMIER: Prefab Messiahs — “Weirdoz Everywhere”

by

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of this video premier for the PREFAB MESSIAHS‘ “Weirdoz Everywhere!” Inspired in part by the psychedelic sixties and in part by cartoons like SpongeBob, Ren & Stimpy, and Adventure Time (we’re talking BIG COLORS!), “Weirdoz Everywhere” flies by like a flip-book of words, swirls, and still-image collage art, making it one of the freshest examples of videos made from “non-video stuff” out there. Certainly deserving of a “fresh tomatillo” rating of at least 99% from the taco-party lovers at the Hassle, and a mighty fine match for a most triumphant song. The Messiahs come out strong here with “Children of Nuggets” vibes, some 30 years in the waiting! We’re talking Soft Boys, Nerves, Plimsouls, Dukes of Stratosphere. High praise, well deserved, and well dosed!
