Flying in on a psychadelic hovercraft, Arvid Noe is a musical force to be reckoned with. With a couple releases under their belts, and with more to come (keep an eye out for “Islington”), this Allston-based group WILL NOT STOP, eagerly banging out sounds like kids playing inside church bells. Listening to an album by this highly gifted group can be a journey if one allows it to be; seeing them live is that journey brought to life. Guitars screeching, yet melodic. Beats haptic and sporadic that’ll keep you asking for more. And all of a sudden… the set is over, and you may ask yourself, “What just happened?” and “Can the aliens that kidnapped me and brought me back beam me up again?”
Arvid Noe will embark on a short tour of the northeast at the end of this month, and they will return riding a massive wave of momentum to bring the noise crashing down on Boston for HOMEGROWN 4: BOSTON HASSLE FEST, Nov. 2nd and 3rd @ the Cambridge Elks Lodge in Central Square. If you HAVEN’T gotten tix yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??
