JAPANTHER makes music to make friends by. The New York duo brought smiles to everyone’s faces with their blasted-out, end-of-the-world rock, pouring everything they had into this set, (including an obscene amount of sweat). Even though the Elks Lodge closes at eleven, these guys made every song feel like 11:59 on New Year’s Eve, complete with splashing beer, fist pumping, and heartfelt shout outs between songs. JAPANTHER’s enthusiasm and love for Boston made this set extra special (we love you too, NYC). Be sure to keep an eye out for their 12″ coming out soon on BUFU records.
