Moron is a new band from Western Mass, featuring member(s) of the great Neutral Fixation among other local standouts. The band plays a mixture of heavy metal and hardcore punk, something like Bl’ast! filtered through Sabbath and Motorhead. Some seriously choice cuts make up the five track demo, with “A Passage To Pittsfield” and “Glom” being immediate standouts. The first batch of demos, sold during the Gluebag lp release weekend, are sold out but more are on their way at some point in the future. Don’t sleep on the demo once it is available again. Along with Holyoke’s Ya Te Veo, Moron are one of the best new bands coming out of Western Mass.
