MISSING MONUMENTS are back! MISSING MONUMENTS ARE BACK! Led by Louisiana legend KING LOUIE, this band is responsible for writing the most seriously infectious power pop n roll shit and this new album is absolutely no exception. You should be listening to this in your old shitty car, whilst lighting off fireworks, or drinking Night Train. It certainly sounds southern somehow, although not in a Skynyrd sort of way, I just can’t imagine this coming from anywhere but the land of bayous. The bubbly straightforward tracks on this are my favorite but the slowed down stuff is incredible too. Go ahead and make one more pair of cutoff shorts this summer, buy this album, and keep your fingers crossed that they’ll come to Boston when they tour this spring.
