Absolutely grizzly and bombastic black metal. A lone 8 minute + track here from MASTERY from a split they put out recently with fellow Bay Area black metal freaks PALACE OF WORMS. It’s the MASTERY track that has me excited though. As you probably know we do not cover much black metal, or metal at all really here at the HASSLE, but it’s not because we don’t love some metal. We do. It’s just really not our forte. So even though I don’t really posess the context to truly go into and explain why this MASTERY track is amazing, I will say, that it is amazing. The track is called “Egregorian Synapse” and its 8 and a half minutes goes by so quickly, flying by with it’s many gnarly twists and turns, and continual textural shifting. !!!!Hey metal writers who actual know your extreme music shit!!!!
