A guitar/drums duo out of NYC. Fluttering reverbed out vox
are in much danger around the very present noisy breakdowns, nasty shards
of guitar, gnarly bleating synths and tribal drums. Yvette, on their s/t 7″,
create a swarthy industrial swirl that agitatedly circles below the cloud of chant-like vocals floating above. The vocals keep it interesting, utilizing a wide range of human sounds; not settling for the simple use of words. No screaming appears(though you keep thinking that it’s coming)which gives these songs much more atmosphere than they might have had otherwise. Cool mix of sounds. Looking forward to more.
