The Pharmacy, from Seattle. These guys have a great
jangle pop thing going on. Lots of great songs, with
some nice twists and turns. Much better songwriting
than you’re hearing from most bands these days. And
the singing is out of tune, just perfectly so. Very
endearing stuff. Has that lo-fi sheen going but here
it adds to the smabling psych pop mix rather than
serving to obscure crappy tunes as is often the case.
I would listen to this bands records more than once.
